The Stockbridge Sinfonia is always interested in meeting players eager to join the group, though our needs vary with programming and the current orchestra roster. At this time, we are especially interested in recruiting brass, oboe, cello, and contrabass players.

The Stockbridge Sinfonia celebrated its 50th season in 2022 — a milestone for a community orchestra that combines accomplished student musicians as well as professional and amateur adults players. We hope you'll contact us about joining as a member, a volunteer, and a supporter.

We do not require auditions, but we expect a certain level of ability when you join us. We have selected excerpts from our summer repertoire for you to play through, to use your judgement of your ability to perform with us.
